Visit the "interior" of the world's largest cave in Vietnam - Son Doong:

On 22/04/2009, the delegation Caves Association Royal had announced the discovery of Son Doong Cave – Vietnam and maintain that this is actually the world's largest cave. Moreover, it has been voted BBC is one of the world's most beautiful caves in early May 2011 besides Crystal Cave (Cavescrystal) – Mexico, Firefly Waitomo Cave - New Zealand, Thousand Buddhas Cave (Mac Cao) – China, The Spruce Cave - United States.

February 01/2010, the England explorers after returned Son Doong cave announced specific figures about the size of the cave. So, Son Doong cave passed Deer Cave in Gunung Mulu National Park of Malaysia (with a height of 100m, width 90m, 2km long) to occupy the largest natural cave in the world. Hang a width of 200 meters, higher than 150 meters long and at least 6.5 km. Cave may be longer, but due to technical conditions, the explorers Association Royal Cave was not able to go all the length of the cave to conclude how long cave is. In the cave, the researchers also found a 2.5km long underground river and the stone pillars as high as 70m.

On this occasion, the expedition has also provided the video recording of the process of discovering and panorama inside the cave. On this 25 June, studios Kyodo (Japan) introduced a complete 3D model of flow in the film Son Doong cave called "Feel the greatness of nature" through NHK television station. The film was broadcast from Japan to 60 countries around the world (including Vietnam) . This is indeed a proud heritage, a spectacular natural marvels of Vietnam.

En Cave - an underground cavern created by the Rao Thuong river. Dry season river dwindled into a small lake, but the rainy season it rises a few dozen meters.

"Although the caves are huge, but they are almost 'invisible' until you walk so close," said Mark Jenkins - a member of the expedition. The local hunters have found the cave by winds blowing up from the ground.
Where there is light where there has forest. Many species of ferns and other plants growing in the part of this cave where have light. Besides plants, the researchers found that both monkeys, snakes, and birds live in forests within the cave.
Over thousands of years, crystals of calcium has surrounded the small grain of sand to create the giant "pearls". This invaluable "Collection of Pearls" located not far from Eden in the grotto.

The biggest challenge of the expedition is to overcome the wall "Great Wall of Viet Nam" is located deep inside the cave. After passing through the porous walls and slippery, they have found the 2nd way to get inside the Son Doong cave.

Known as the "Great Wall of Viet Nam", this imposing stone to 70m high, over 6km deep. It is the obstacle that made the adventurers must halt the expedition in 2009 and returned in 2010 with the special tools to overcome it. During the dry season from November to April, the adventurers can explore safely the Ken cave when its lake is dry. The rainy season most of the caves were flooded, so that people cannot pass.


  Climb by rope is the only way to go to the Loong Con cave. Cave was discovered in 2010 and researchers are hoping it can open with the Son Doong cave. A part of cave is blocked by a large rock which their judgments, the other side of that rock is a quite large cave.
